Dear President Paulson,

Thanks much for the D&S Pass. As you know, I commute at least weekly between my business in Gunnison and my home in Montrose, and so will use my Pass frequently.

Your courtesy in providing the Pass is greatly appreciated. Our business is expanding, with more people buying new TV sets and tower antennas, which of course will be shipped to us from Denver via the D&RGW to Montrose, and then the D&S to us. I expect that the TV set business will really take off when Gunnison gets its own station, the license for which I have applied for. So I anticipate that our freight business will increase, both with the receiving sets themselves, and the studio and transmitting equipment that we'll be ordering after the license is granted.
